The Legal Charter
Privacy Policy, Terms of Service & Cookie Policy
Everything governing your use of Project Z, written out in full. If a section matters to your decision to use the app, it's here.
Privacy Policy
Effective October 22, 2026. Plain terms first, precise terms second.
Who we are
Project Z is published by Celsitudo Studio, a sole proprietorship of Noaman, based in India ("we", "us"). We are the data controller (called "Data Fiduciary" under India's DPDP Act) for the personal data described below. Contact: see Contact & grievances.
This policy covers the Project Z iOS app and this website.
Information we collect
| Data | When | Purpose | Where it is held |
|---|---|---|---|
| Email address (optional) | You submit our update/waitlist form or email us | Send updates you asked for; answer support requests | Formspree, Inc. (United States), and our email inbox |
| App Store purchase confirmation | You subscribe | Unlock premium features | Apple, Inc. is the merchant of record; we receive only confirmation, never card details |
| Crash diagnostics (opt-in) | Only if you enable sharing with developers in iOS Settings | Fix bugs | Apple's pipeline; we receive aggregated reports |
| Website server logs | You visit this site | Security and reliability | Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which may log IP addresses for a short period |
We do not ask for your name, contacts, location, photos or device identifiers, and the app requests no permissions it does not need.
Information we do not collect
- The goals, prompts or courses you create in the app
- Your usage patterns, session length or feature interactions
- Advertising identifiers or data for ad targeting
- Precise or approximate location
- Contacts, photos or other device content
The app contains no analytics SDK, advertising SDK or third-party crash reporter. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
How on-device processing works
When you type a goal, Project Z generates the course using Apple's on-device intelligence frameworks. Course generation does not use the network. The result is saved in a local SwiftData store in the app's sandbox on your device.
Apple may include that app data in your device backups (iCloud or local), under Apple's own terms and encryption. Deleting the app or a course removes it from your device. Existing backups are managed by Apple and may retain the data until they are overwritten or deleted in your Apple account settings.
Because we never receive your content, we cannot view it and cannot recover it if it is lost.
Third-party services
- Formspree, Inc. (United States) processes email submissions from our form on our behalf.
- Apple, Inc. processes App Store purchases, subscriptions and opt-in crash diagnostics under its own privacy terms.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
We use no advertising network, analytics platform or data broker.
Legal bases for processing
- Consent, for emails you submit through our form. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests (answering your support request; keeping the website secure).
- Contract, for purchase confirmations needed to provide premium features.
Where India's DPDP Act applies, we process data on the basis of your consent or other lawful uses it permits.
Retention & deletion
We keep form-submitted emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and delete them when the purpose is complete. Support emails are kept for up to 12 months after the issue is resolved. Server logs are kept for a short period set by our host.
Course and goal data is not held by us, so there is nothing on our side to delete. See section 4 for deletion on your device.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, delete, or receive a portable copy of your personal data
- Object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time
- Complain to your data protection authority (for example in the EU/EEA, UK, India, Brazil, Canada, Australia or Japan)
- EU/UK (GDPR): the rights above, plus the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority
- California (CCPA/CPRA): the right to know, delete and correct, and to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
- India (DPDP Act): the right to access information, correct and erase data, grievance redressal, and to nominate another person to exercise rights on your behalf
- Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act), Japan (APPI): equivalent access, correction and deletion rights under local law
To exercise a right, contact us. We respond within one month (or the period required by your local law). We may need to verify your identity.
International transfers
We are based in India. Emails you submit through our form are processed by Formspree in the United States, so your data is transferred outside your country. Where required (for example from the EU/EEA or UK), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy mechanism that the processor provides. Your goal and course content never leaves your device, so it is not transferred.
Children
Project Z is intended for users aged 15 and over (or the higher minimum age in your country). If you are under the age of digital consent or majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission to use the app or to give us an email address. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Form submissions are sent over TLS. On-device data is protected by iOS sandboxing and file-system encryption. Since we hold no central database of course content, none can be breached from our side. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal data occurs, we will notify you and authorities as the law requires.
AI notice
Courses are generated by an AI model running on your device. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable. It is not professional advice. No decision with legal or similarly significant effect is made about you by automated means.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the "Last revised" date, add an entry to the change log, and notify you in the app or by email where the law requires.
Terms of Service
Effective October 22, 2026. By downloading or using Project Z, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance & eligibility
These terms are an agreement between you and Celsitudo Studio ("we"). If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, or have a parent or guardian's consent. Use of the app after an update to these terms means you accept the updated terms.
License & restrictions
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Project Z on Apple devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple EULA"). If these terms and the Apple EULA conflict, the Apple EULA prevails on those points.
You may not: reverse-engineer or decompile the app except where the law allows; resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the app; use it to build a competing product; or bypass technical measures that restrict paid features.
Subscriptions & in-app purchases
Some features (for example advanced on-device course-tracking and statistics) are offered under a premium subscription billed through Apple's In-App Purchase. The price, length and renewal terms are shown before you subscribe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policy. This does not limit any refund or withdrawal right you have under mandatory consumer law.
- Prices may vary by region and may change with notice before your next renewal.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Project Z for anything unlawful, infringing, or intended to harm or harass others, and not to interfere with the app's operation or security, including through scraping, exploitation of jailbroken devices, or abuse of Apple's platform services.
Your input and your responsibility
Project Z processes what you type on your device, and we cannot see it. The app relies on Apple's built-in on-device safeguards and does not add its own review of your input. You are responsible for the goals you enter and for how you use the courses generated, and you agree not to use the app to plan unlawful, dangerous or harmful activity.
Nothing in this section affects liability that cannot be excluded by law.
AI-generated output
Courses are generated by AI and may be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for you. They are for personal planning only. They are not professional, medical, legal, financial, engineering or safety advice. Use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional where it matters.
Intellectual property
Project Z, its name, logo, interface and software belong to us and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Content you create is yours. We claim no ownership of your goals, prompts or courses, and because they stay on your device, we cannot access them.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be accurate or safe, or that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data will not be lost through device failure, OS issues or user error.
Your statutory rights are not affected. If you are a consumer, you may have rights under mandatory law (for example in the EU, UK or India) that these terms cannot take away.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, goodwill or profits, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your breach of these terms or your unlawful use of the app. This does not apply where mandatory consumer law prohibits it.
Termination
You may stop using Project Z at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access to premium features if you breach these terms. Because your content lives on your device, ending access does not delete it.
Apple terms
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app and its content.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
- If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price, if any. To the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
- We, not Apple, handle claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and consumer-protection claims, and any intellectual property claims.
- You represent that you are not in a country subject to a U.S. embargo and are not on a U.S. prohibited-party list.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you once you accept them.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to the next paragraph, the courts of India have jurisdiction. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts where those laws allow.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be shown in the "Last revised" date and the change log, and we will give additional notice in the app where required.
Cookie & Tracking Policy
Covers this website. The Project Z app contains no cookies, web views or tracking SDKs.
What this site uses
This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Fonts and assets are served from our own site. Your browser's normal request to our host (and to Formspree if you submit the form) transmits your IP address as part of how the web works. Because we use no optional cookies, there is no consent banner.
Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
We aim for the site and app to work with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion. If you hit a barrier, tell us. We treat accessibility issues as priority bugs.
Contact & Grievances
Privacy requests, data deletion, complaints or legal questions.
